In just these two hours...

Just two hours! Yes, just two hours.
I started talking to myself in just these two hours,
Never thought about the questions I had, in just these two hours,
And surprisingly, I could see a beautiful lady inside me,
I smiled at her and met this lovely stranger, in just these two hours.

We approached and wanted to spend time talking to each other
But did not know how to start with, in just these two hours
Questions, Questions, a lot of questions we listed down
And soon, started sorting them out, in just these two hours

Suddenly, we overheard a man talking about making connections
He was talking out of his experience and wisdom, in just these two hours
But, how wisely, he spoke about, from transaction to trust,
And from consumption to contribute, in just these two hours

With his sheer simplicity he gave everyone a question to hold on,
And made us think about it and reflect, in just these two hours
He talked about the difference between an action and activity,
Stressed on the domain of invisibility, in just these two hours

We were left awestruck with our own thoughts,
And began contemplating on the question to hold on,
Soon I realized, we were not different, but one,
And I experienced the wholeness with myself, in just these two hours.

Critical thinking

Before I could pen down my ideas on paper....
Let me think about the insight I got from the session,
Had an informative discussion and debate,
Talked about inherited claim vs. Evidence based claim.

Interpretations, making inferences, and assumptions we talked about
Placebo treatment in Homeopathy we pointed out,
But that was not enough for the day to go,
As through the confirmation biasis we were all knocked out.

Our facilitator asked us to murder our darling,
By selecting a product that’s in close proximity to us.

We enjoyed canvassing our ideas and quarrelling,
The discussion indeed remained rich and healthy,
As we were able to frame our thoughts correctly.

Looking forward for the session again,
As the journey to ‘critical thinking’ has just begun.

Team Vision 2016-17

As the new academic year has begun
We have lots of ideas to implement and have fun,
Be it an explicit instruction or differentiation,
We shall have more digital innovation aligned with our curriculum.

We aim to impart personalized education,
With lots of fun and through various learning stations,
Strategies, tools, hand on activities and some creation,
Project based learning and some innovations,
We are the team ready with our vision, a thoughtful consideration.

We respect the diversity in students’ learning styles,
We aim to instill a love of learning in each student,
Inspire them to become better humans,
And cultivate the potential in them to achieve academic excellence.

Be it a mathematical calculation or reading comprehension,
We are ready with our plan, to execute with good intention,
We are the team of passionate educators, we love to teach,
Yes! We are aspiring to launch, with a 21st Century theme.

I still remember....

I remember the day, when my boss encouraged me to write,
I told him, I do not know how to upright my ideas in mind,

He said, ‘I trust you, you can do it,
Just simply pen down the ideas and give a voice to it.’

He asked me to think about the article to shout out,
Or on something that I am passionate about

I wondered how to give a sparkling effect to my ideas!
Nevertheless, I was excited and overjoyed to write on.

After contemplating I got the topic to create a draft on,
Narmad library’ a perfect place for readers to depend upon.

I was energized and contented about my article
As to my surprise it turned out to be chronicled.

He appreciated my write up and me,
But I could not thank him for giving a vision to be.

While collecting thoughts I can foresee,
That the writer in me is aspiring to flee,

I promise myself that I’ll continue to write,
Before I embrace everyone with a final goodbye

Digital technology a boon or bane

Is digital technology taking over teaching?
It is debatable indeed, but it carries its own limits,
While there is also some opposition to it,
But how can one deny that it's a hit.

Let me tell you,'Technology doesn't change anything.'
It provides enriched opportunities to learn and grow,
Not exclusively for teachers, but for every heart and soul,
With vivacious exploration, students draw the details they want to know.'

Proceeding further, I accept, students are immersed in technology,
They are readily taking on this new mythology,
But did anyone try to find,'what's trending in their classroom?'
Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity are on boom.

Integrating technology into the classroom, isn't it good?
It accommodates students learning with a diverse range of needs
Doubtlessly, it also helps teachers cope with the pedagogical challenges,
Even when it appears we can't sustain the damages.

Going further, just play your part as a digital parent,
And simply do not worry about the technology that is inherent,
The truth that is indeed transparent,
Infact, it provides a scope of lot of transformation that is apparent.

Therefore, be productive producers and consumers of technology,
Which is strengthening economically strong knowledge based society,
Undeniably, it supports the education system in India,
Remember our prime minister saying,'Make India a Digital India.'

With gratitude !..

They asked me,’ How did I manage to bring a change in my routine?’
I simply replied,’ I prioritize my health and well-being.’
But I suppose that was not enough for them to know
As they looked bewildered looking at my golden glow

Then I told them not to go by looks,
Merely try to understand the truth
I was in poor health, when I met Mukti one day,
She suggested disciplining my routine and working out every day.

I simply followed by what she said
And started going to the gym nearly every alternate day
Soon I began experiencing the change
My heart started confessing to me ‘I love you, but you’re strange!'

I am glad, meeting Mukti was the perfect time,
Her guidance and advice is pure and of unstained prime.
Now I feel so contented and at an ease all the time
Precisely because the decision I took was at the right time.
